Our attraction: We provide a QUIET, CLEAN and SECURE studious environment for our students to ensure success in their studies.

Interested in something for a short period only, then check out this well-appointed extra-large Master bedroom ensuite in this exceptional student accommodation close to University of Newcastle, Jesmond shopping centre and a major bus interchange - all within 10-20 minutes walking distance of each other.

(A bicycle would also make this distance shorter via safe cycle-ways. )

Having a good mix of local and international under/post-grad and PhD students, we ensure all support is given to our tenants in the way we privately manage our properties for the peace of mind and harmony for all.

While this is not a party house, as a reality check, we do strongly advocate & support social gatherings among the housemates (and/or their friends to a limited degree), without crowding the household's space. (Of course, there are strict guidelines in place. Do not apply if you are a party-person. )

All housemates play their part in maintaining the amenity of the house, with agreed guidelines on cleanliness and respect for one another. House meetings are encouraged.

With superior surroundings, this recently renovated home is designed to provide a family-friendly environment for students.

Common areas of this home provide a range of private or group use areas, inside and out, with comfortable seating and tables for social interaction or quiet reflection and study.
There is a large front covered verandah with table and chairs, and a rear undercover area in the back courtyard. (This area also has clothes airers available for drying during wet weather. )

The kitchen is a large, well-appointed galley style, with heaps of space and equipment for multiple users at one time. Facilities include extensive cupboards and storage, fully stocked with crockery, cooking equipment and utensils, a wide range of electrical appliances, 5-burner gas cook top, electric wall oven and grill, microwave, double sink, and two large refrigerator / freezers.
There is also an outdoor BBQ unit.


FURNISHINGS

This master bedroom comes with a good sized ensuite, walk-in-wardrobe and a separate study area with space to spare! Queen bed is flanked with appropriate bedside furniture which in bedside tables and lamps. Extra furniture (varied to suit tenants), also currently includes a comfortable lounge seat, large bookshelf and 2 desks with chairs. There is an air conditioner and ceiling fan.

(Linen not included but is available at cost if required. )

Internet is provided as a complimentary service for studies.


BILLS - NO CAPPED AMOUNTS

Rent includes all other bills. However, we do ask all students to be mindful of the environment and show care in their use of the facilities, including turning equipment off when not in use.


FIRE SAFETY

There are well placed safety equipment in 3 areas of the house, as well as fire/ smoke detectors in a range of areas.


SECURITY

All doors and windows are fully security screened.


CLEANLINESS

A cleaner visits once a week to ensure the common areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and provides advice on keeping the place (particularly the kitchen! ) to a high standard. All residents are asked to assist in keeping the place clean and tidy in between cleanings.


BIN ROSTER

A bin-roster is maintained, and residents are encouraged to work together to maintain the beautiful amenity of this home. There is also has a range of cleaning equipment available for use by students to maintain their own rooms.


KITTY

We recommend all students contribute a small amount to a kitty for toilet paper, handwash and dishwashing detergent.


AMENITIES

In addition to the property’s extra 2 bathrooms/toilets, there is a washing machine and tub in the laundry area, as well as ironing board and iron. There is a range of cleaning equipment available for use by students to maintain their own rooms.


PARKING

There is plenty of on-street parking and a leafy green aspect to the park opposite. A safe push bike storage area is available.

OPEN FOR VIEWING: Any time by appointment.

Alternatively, a live Skype video tour can be arranged for overseas students, however no lease is signed until after a physical inspection.

As we privately manage our properties, we can pick you up from the Uni or Jesmond Shops for an inspection during the week, weekends or after 5pm.

This property is smoke-free and no pets are allowed, apart from the small lizards in the courtyard and blue-tongued lizards that run around the garden.
